Hello!

Lately I've been heads-down on Intent, our developer workspace for working with agents. This week I shipped a bunch of updates: a more consistent design across the app, clearer Mermaid and interactive diagrams, per-agent notification muting, shared image controls, and smoother chat and browsing.

The diagram work is what's really on my mind. The idea is simple: know what your agents are planning to cook and how before you spend the tokens. Getting a plan or a flowchart in front of you first (Request, Valid?, Process, Repair, Ready) lets you course correct before the agent burns through work you didn't want.

That ties back to a thing I keep circling on with agentic products: how much of an agent's work should the UI actually show? In Intent we've been using a single line to show an agent's work with the ability to expand it for details, an attempt to strike a balance between too much and not enough. And I still hear strong opinions on both sides.

Oh, and a lighter observation from yesterday: it's underappreciated how much unlimited tokens is a draw for top-tier talent.
