Hello!
Today I'm thinking about agent orchestration, which is where AI products have clearly landed. We went from models behind the scenes, to chatting with models directly, to models using tools, to agents orchestrating other agents. That last shift is the current design challenge.
And once you've got multiple agents working together, a chat thread doesn't cut it. Try managing a whole team through a single Slack thread and you'll feel the pain. So what's the UI that meets this new capability? That's what's got my attention.
The other thing on my mind is collaboration. Right now AI tools are mostly solo sports: developers write more code, designers make more images, PMs crank out more docs. But when everyone runs their own agents toward their own version of things, perspectives drift and you ship fifteen different ideas instead of one unified product. Figuring out how teams steer agents together is the next hard problem.
