LukeW Interface Designs to Acquire OK/Cancel

SUNNYVALE, Calif. and SAN FRANCISO, Calif. - April 1, 2006 –
LukeW Interface Designs, a leading
digital product design company, and OK/Cancel, a leading provider of
interface design humor, today announced they have signed a definitive
agreement under which LukeW Interface Designs will acquire OK/Cancel
for an undisclosed amount.

in interface design satire," said Luke Wroblewski, founder and
principal, LukeW Interface Designs. "This combination bolsters
our strategy to capture the largest audience of readers as they make
the shift to online comics and supports LukeW Interface Designs’
goal to give consumers the greatest choice, control and flexibility
in how they get their interface design resources. This acquisition is
one of several content innovations and new initiatives in which LukeW
Interface Designs will invest to build our content portfolio this year
and in the future."
Founded in 2003, OK/Cancel pioneered satire of the good and bad and
the people behind the industry of building interfaces - usability specialists,
interaction designers, human-computer interaction (HCI) experts, and
industrial designers. The combination will substantially increase LukeW
Interface Designs’ reach within an active and engaged design audience.
Upon completion of the acquisition, OK/Cancel will become a wholly-owned
subsidiary of LukeW Interface Designs. The transaction is subject to
customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval. It is expected
the transaction will be completed during the second quarter of 2006.
