Policy forming and decision-making are challenging tasks for groups
(especially large groups) of individuals. The proper amount of input,
data, and evaluation is crucial to making appropriate decisions in educational
policy formation and multi-sector crisis management. The decision-making
environment outlined here is an integrated system of knowledge discovery,
collaboration, deliberation, and corporate memory tools to assist groups
of all sizes in making decisions.

These diagrams are "big picture" views of the stages within
the decision-making environment. The central loop is repeated until
the group's requirements for data integration and analysis have been
met. The end result is a visual representation (with memory and supportive
data) that presents the outcome of the process in a manner indicative
of the proper course of action.
