Visual Finding Interfaces

I recently stumbled onto two interesting visual "finding" interfaces.

The first is introNetworks: a Flash application that provides an immediate social networking return for conference attendees. Fill in some information about yourself and a scatter plot shows you who you should be talking to. I worked a very similar product in grad school (though we used a spiral visualization and citation/authoring information to make matches).

Second, the Viewpoint toolbar features graphically enhanced search results and reminds me of a Google Labs project titled Google Viewer (no longer online), which let you view your search results as a slideshow.
